Description
TRIBO gunMODEL PCT 22
The electrokinetic gun (TRIBO) is designed for applying paints with sufficient electrification capacity (charging by friction) to grounded objects.
The gun works by feeding the powder through the mixing chamber to the loading tube where the powder is accelerated and swirled by compressed air. Passing through the charging tube, the paint receives an electrical charge due to friction. Charged paint particles exiting the gun are attracted to grounded objects.
The system is particularly suitable for applying a paint coating on elements with complex shapes, on internal surfaces where a Faraday cage is created, on wire elements, as well as for repairing the surface of already painted elements.
The gun is a manual gun with its own powder paint container. The advantage of the gun is its simple design and the associated reliability, easy color change and minimal investment costs of the entire workstation.
ADVANTAGES:
- No high voltage generator
- High efficiency of powder application on wire elements
- Very good powder loading
- Evenness of layer application
- Low powder consumption
- Slow wear of the charging tube
- Simple cleaning easy handling
- Ergonomic, lightweight pistol grip
